Article Alternative Link
It lets you assign an alternative URL to a Joomla article, so its title, Read More button, and other article links can point to a different destination instead of the default article URL.
Description
Article Alternative Link is a Joomla system plugin that allows you to assign an alternative URL to any article.
After installation, an “Alternative Link” field is added to the article editing form. When this field is filled in, links that would normally point to the standard Joomla article page are replaced with the specified URL.
This is useful when an article is used as a list item, teaser, or announcement, but clicking it should take the visitor to another page, another Joomla component, or an external website.
The plugin supports external URLs, relative URLs, and Joomla internal system URLs such as index.php?option=.... Internal system URLs are automatically processed by the Joomla router and converted to SEF URLs.
